For almost a decade now, William Christie, a great specialist in French music, has initiated a series of concerts and recordings based on serious and drinking airs by composers such as Lambert, Couperin or Charpentier, but also Guédron, Moulinié, Lejeune...

For this new opus, he brings together once again the ensemble of singers and instrumentalists who have accompanied him since the beginning of this journey, in order to further explore this colorful repertoire, full of charm, lightness... and expressivity!
