Residency of Tra Noi Ensemble
Tra Noi
- Lauréats du Concours International de Musique Ancienne du Val de Loire
Les Arts Florissants and Stradivaria are joining forces to support young Baroque artists, by welcoming the Swiss ensemble Tra Noi, winner of the 2024 International Early Music Competition of the Loire Valley, to a residency in Thiré (Vendée, Pays de la Loire).
Aimed at young instrumental ensembles, this competition, organized by Stradivaria and presided over by William Christie, enables the prize-winners to take up residencies, masterclasses and two concerts in the Pays de la Loire region.
On this occasion, the ensemble's musicians are invited to Thiré for an opening concert on January 16, followed by a four-day residency at the Quartier des Artistes, the international cultural campus of Les Arts Florissants. In particular, they will have the opportunity to perfect their skills with Sébastien Marq, flautist with Les Arts Florissants.
At the end of the residency, the Tra Noi ensemble will give a concert at the Chapelle de l'Immaculée in Nantes on Monday January 20 at 8:30 pm, as part of Stradivaria's “les apartés” cultural season.
