In this intimate conversational concert - their only North American appearance together this summer - William Christie and Emmanuel Resche-Caserta invite audiences to discover (or rediscover) some of Handel's most beautiful works. The two musicians engage in a compelling play of symmetries, evoking both opera and the splendour of the court, while revealing another aspect of "otherness": dialogue, transmission, and the sharing of knowledge across generations.
