In Terra Pax, the artists' lounge

Inaugurated in 2022, the In Terra Pax house is one of the highlights of the Quartier des Artistes in Thiré (Vendée, Pays de la Loire).
Designed to welcome artists in a quiet, convivial setting, the house offers a place to rest and contemplate nature, thanks to its large bay window overlooking the park and the Jardin des îles.
Designed by architects Olivier Dugast and Patricia Jaunet, the In Terra Pax house features a grand piano, numerous tables for enjoying a drink or working, sofas, a large functional kitchen and plenty of wall storage, all of which have been optimized to create a warm and welcoming environment.
In Terra Pax also features a large terrace overlooking the Jardin des îles - a landscaped area freely open to the public all year round. The brightness of the building, made possible by its large bay windows, adds depth to the main room and enhances the wood furnishings, recalling the natural dimension so essential to the Fondation Les Arts Florissants - William Christie project.
This project would not have been possible without the generous contribution of our patrons. We thank them for their presence and support, which play an essential role in the success of the Fondation Les Arts Florissants and its past and future projects. Thanks to them, we can continue to promote and nurture a love of Baroque culture and music, gardens and heritage in a spirit of transmission.
They helped build In Terra Pax:
Ce projet a fait l’objet d’un financement européen (Fonds d’aide européens LEADER).
