To brighten your confinement and prolong the enjoyment of our 40th anniversary festivities a little longer, Les Arts Florissants has updated its anniversary playlist.

Do you wish to listen at your leisure to some of the most exquisite musical moments ever recorded by Les Arts Florissants? Your wish is granted! In collaboration with harmonia mundi, an extended version of the “40 years” playlist has just been put on-line. Now with a number of new additions, it features key moments in the Ensemble’s recording history, from the greatest hits—the Sommeil of Atys or the ‘Air des Sauvages’—to hidden treasures. Alternately luminous, somber, poignant, conveying love and serenity, this selection will give you a taste of the Duetti da camera, the Tenebrae Lessons and other Venetian pearls—which sadly were not able to be presented on stage due to the current situation.
