For this special occasion, the Garden Café were open all weekend! Here, visitors took a guided tour of the Lettuce Patch (Le Clos des Salades) with gardener and botanist Baptiste Pierre, and of course enjoyed refreshments in the café area!

An opportunity to learn about the trades of the heritage artisans working on the Quartier des Artistes project in the village of Thiré.

Journees Du Patrimoine 2020 MG 8416 David Fugere-rectanglePercussionist Marie-Ange Petit, a musician emblematic of Les Arts Florissants, presented to the public her restoration of the drum used by the rural guard of Thiré. This session followed a series of educational workshops held the previous days as part of the ‘Learning Holidays’ programme initiated by the Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sports.
