The Lettuce Patch (Le Clos des Salades) and the Garden Café reopen their doors
For this special occasion, the Garden Café were open all weekend! Here, visitors took a guided tour of the Lettuce Patch (Le Clos des Salades) with gardener and botanist Baptiste Pierre, and of course enjoyed refreshments in the café area!
Presentation of Heritage Trades
An opportunity to learn about the trades of the heritage artisans working on the Quartier des Artistes project in the village of Thiré.
A restored drum
Percussionist Marie-Ange Petit, a musician emblematic of Les Arts Florissants, presented to the public her restoration of the drum used by the rural guard of Thiré. This session followed a series of educational workshops held the previous days as part of the ‘Learning Holidays’ programme initiated by the Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sports.
Guided tours of the Quartier des Artistes and of the Thiré church
An opportunity to discover the project of an international artistic campus lead by the Foundation in Thiré, as well as the village's Gothic church whose earliest foundations date back to fourteenth century.
