"Dear friends,

 As many of you already know, I founded Les Arts Florissants over 40 years ago.

 How can we explain this extraordinary longevity? Of course, we must mention the wonderful artists who initiated or joined this constantly evolving adventure, our faithful public that has never ceased to accompany us and to grow since our beginnings, and the teams who work every day to advance the Foundation’s mission. But that's not all. Still others are absolutely essential: I am referring to the many patrons who give us their support. Without them – without you – none of this would be possible.

Every year, the Fondation Les Arts Florissants - William Christie relies on the generosity of its donors to keep the Baroque spirit alive. No concert, festival, garden, or training program can exist without this indispensable support!

 In a few days, Giving Tuesday – the global day of generosity – will take place. From November 24 to 29, 2022, everyone is invited to show their commitment by supporting the projects that are important to them – including, in particular, our Foundation. Whatever the amount of your donation, it is a powerful gesture and symbol that you will be sending us, by joining the adventure of Les Arts Florissants. And I am immensely grateful to you.
