The concert Selva morale e spirituale in preparation in Thiré
From June 7 to 9, the artists of Les Arts Florissants meet in Thiré, at the Quartier des Artistes, to prepare the concert Selva morale e spirituale by Monteverdi that will be given next summer.
With its numerous rehearsal spaces and living quarters, the Quartier des Artistes is today a privileged place for Les Arts Florissants' working residencies, conducive to concentration and inspiration.
This month, the singers and instrumentalists will gather there to work on a work dear to William Christie, Monteverdi's Selva morale et spirituale.
Three days of intensive work to prepare the concerts planned for this summer... which will end on a convivial note, with a dress rehearsal exceptionally open to the inhabitants of the village, at the invitation of Les Arts Florissants and the Town Hall of Thiré!
