How to get to the Festival?

How to dress?

The atmosphere at Thiré is decidedly relaxed! The most important thing is that you feel at ease, so we recommend that you dress comfortably and take flat shoes that will enable you to move around the Gardens without difficulty.

During the day, light clothing and hats are recommended to protect you from the sun; as for the evenings, nights can be chilly, so remember to bring something to cover up with, especially if you are attending operas on the Miroir d'Eau.

What to bring to the Festival?

The essentials not to forget:

  • a water bottle to quench your thirst
  • a hat to protect you from the sun
  • a folding seat if you find it difficult to stand (for Afternoons in the Gardens)
  • a plaid or sweater for cooler evenings
