Residencies in the Artists' Quarter
Throughout the year, the Fondation Les Arts Florissants - William Christie welcomes artists, gardeners, landscape designers, researchers and creators who wish to come and work or create in the serene and inspiring setting of the village of Thiré.

Working on a musical programme, composing, studying the art and techniques of gardening, creating a landscape, writing... Thanks to its transdisciplinary approach, the Foundation is open to a wide range of researchers, artists and creators whose projects are related to music, the art of gardens or heritage. They can come and stay at the Artists' Quarter - the international artistic campus of Les Arts Florissants in the Vendée - Pays de la Loire - for periods of varying length, depending on their needs and the existing programmes.
These stays can be an opportunity to exchange with William Christie, Paul Agnew, and the Les Arts Florissants artists and staff. They can also be a chance to connect with the village and its inhabitants, notably during public presentations.
They came for a residency:
- Ensemble Jupiter (baroque music, France)
- Ensemble Overtone & Varsavia Galante (baroque music and dance, Poland)
- Le Consort (baroque music, France)
