Lionel HugPaul Agnew invites young singers to explore the vocal repertoire of English composer John Dowland (1563–1626) to mark the 400th anniversary of his death, during a multi-day workshop on the Quartier des Artistes campus.
This masterclass is part of an educational collaboration between Les Arts Florissants and Toronto’s music conservatories, aimed at sharing Les Arts Florissants’ knowledge and expertise in Baroque performance with student singers from diverse backgrounds.
The masterclass will conclude with a concert open to village residents, volunteers, and Les Arts Florissants’ educational and community partners, as well as their students and beneficiaries. For more information: aderuyter@arts-florissants.org
