At the heart of the Centre Culturel de Rencontre

Workshop, rehearsal sessions, pedagogical activities, première…everyone can find what pleases him/her.

This past June illustrates the development of the Centre culturel de rencontre des Arts Florissants in Thiré and Sud-Vendée:

• Residence and open to the public dress rehearsal for the Madrigali concert under Paul Agnew conduction;

• Rehearsal sessions for the young musicians of Le Consort ensemble with the presence of William Christie;

• Visits of William Christie’s garden during the “Rendez-vous aux jardins” special weekend;

• Visits and pedagogical activities for schoolers;

• Première in Sud-Vendée of the “William Christie ou l’art de donner” documentary ;

• Residence of a young Canadian singer;

• Arrival of the gardeners interns;

• Jardin Polycarpe creation by the Maison familiale de Mareuil students.

A very rich summer with the Jardin des Voix Academy and the Dans les Jardin Festival

Artistic activities are on until the end of the civil year. Don’t miss :

• The new season of the Jardin des Voix Academy whose laureates will arrive in Thiré at the beginning of August;

• The 9^th edition of Dans les Kardins de William Christie Festival which will take place from August 24 to 31.

Les Journées du Patrimoine

During the next National Heritage Day in September, the Quartier des Artistes craftsmen art and technics will be at the forefront.

From 2020 on, masterclasses programs and meetings with art baroque specialists will be added to the traditional agenda of the Centre Culturel de Rencontre.
