Les Arts Florissants takes part in the LaDocumenta.eu project
Launched on June 23, 2023, the digital platform LaDocumenta.eu will make available the resources of numerous European ensembles playing on period instruments. Les Arts Florissants, Paul Agnew and William Christie are delighted to be part of this innovative project!
LaDocumenta.eu is a new online resource center dedicated to the preservation and accessibility of the tangible and intangible heritage of early music, bringing together on a single platform the resources of numerous European ensembles playing on period instruments.
Transmission is at the heart of the Les Arts Florissants - William Christie Foundation project. It is therefore only natural that we should join in this adventure, by making available our musical resources, the fruit of over 40 years' work to promote the preservation of Baroque heritage.
