Two ukrainians artists at the Quartier des Artistes
The Quartier des Artistes, which has been awarded the "Centre Culturel de Rencontre" label, regularly welcomes artists and ensembles in residence. This month, two Ukrainian violinists spent a few days in residence and participate in a masterclass directed by Daniel Cuiller.
As part of a partnership between the Philharmonie de Paris and the Odyssée program of the Association des Centres Culturels de Rencontre, the Quartier des Artistes welcomed Alisa Rudanova and Artem Kutsan, two Ukrainian violinists, for a residency.
To mark the occasion, William Christie and Paul Agnew invited violinist Daniel Cuiller, director of Stradivaria, the Nantes baroque ensemble, to give a masterclass on violin playing in French Baroque music.
