After having dedicated the opening concert to vocal music, Paul Agnew devotes this last concert to Purcell's instrumental music. The Fantasias for the Viols, written in 1680 by the composer when he was only 21 years old, are at the heart of this intimate program, full of emotion and depth, where they alternate with Italian-sounding sonatas.
