Program
Johann Sebastian BACH - St-John Passion
Although the works of Bach had only been occasionally included in the repertoire of Les Arts Florissants until recently, the past three seasons have seen an exploration of some of the major pages of his works with the B minor Mass, the cantatas, motets and now Saint John Passion.
And the exploration has been to public at critical acclaim, unanimously underlining how the transparency, humanity and refinement of the « Arts Flo » sound have brought new blood to the interpretation of the works of the Cantor of Leipzig.
