Festival photo contest: share your best shots!

Whether you are a photo enthusiast, an amateur or simply curious and motivated, everyone is invited to participate in our special photo contest for the 11th edition of the Festival Dans les Jardins de William Christie.

Participation in the contest is free and requires only one condition: to be a visitor of the festival, with no age, gender or nationality limit.

The objective is simple: to sublimate a musical moment, few seconds in the gardens, according to your glance. Because without you, the festival could not take place. Be creative and give free rein to your imagination! 

How to participate?

When: The contest is valid during the whole festival (from August 20th to 27th). After these dates, no participation will not be admitted.

How: Anyone wishing to participate in the contest must send their best picture by Saturday, August 27 (11:59 pm) to the following e-mail address: communication@arts-florissants.org

Required photo format: digital file in .jpeg (we will come back to you in case of reduced photo quality when sending)

Rules: Each participant can send only one photo during the whole contest. We also remind you that photos during evening concerts are strictly forbidden. On the other hand, it is totally possible to photograph the gardens, the educational workshops and the afternoon concerts!

The selection

The jury will be composed by the organizing team of the festival, who will select ten shots. The ten finalists will then be judged by William Chritie and Paul Agnew, who will each choose three pictures. The winners will then be named. The prizes will be awarded according to the creativity and artistic originality of the photographs.

The winners of the contest will receive a CD signed by William Christie and/or Paul Agnew, and will have their picture published on our Instagram and Facebook pages!

And because we want to showcase our audience and their commitment to Les Arts Florissants, we will also produce a photo album of all the contest participants' photographs, which will be available on our website.
