The Juilliard School in residence in Thiré
Students from the Juilliard School in New York will be in Thiré for a working residency with William Christie and violinist Augusta MacKay Lodge, before participating in the private concert "Les Musiques de Charpentier" at the Sainte-Chapelle...
On April 20, 2022, William Christie and Les Arts Florissants will perform for the very first time at the Sainte-Chapelle, with a musical programme dedicated to the composer Marc-Antoine Charpentier, Master of Music of the Sainte-Chapelle from 1698 to 1704. A unique event... in which students from the Juilliard School will participate!
In preparation for this exceptional concert, the young musicians will be welcomed to Thiré for a working residency alongside William Christie and Augusta MacKay Lodge, concertmaster of Les Arts Florissants and a former student of the Juilliard School.
