Les Arts Florissants is back in New York City !
Since the pandemic, this is the first time the ensemble will travel to the USA in large numbers. From concerts at Carnegie Hall, to masterclasses at the Juilliard School, to a film screening at the FIAF (Institut Français - Alliance Française), the week will be filled with events to celebrate the reunion between the artists and the New York audience!

Les Arts Florissants artists meet the students of the Juilliard School in New York for 3 masterclasses:
April 10-16: Masterclass with Paul Agnew
April 17: Masterclass with Myriam Rigno (viola da gamba)
April 20: Masterclass with William Christie
April 27: Masterclass with Emmanuel Resche-Caserta (first violin and musical assistant to William Christie)
"William Christie, the art of giving"
On April 24, Jarmila Buzkhova's documentary on William Christie and his work of transmission will be presented at the FIAF (French Institute - Alliance française) in New York, in the presence of William Christie and Théotime Langlois de Swarte.
After the screening, a musical moment will be offered as well as a signing of the book Cultiver l'emotion, entretiens avec William Christie (Actes Sud) in partnership with the Librairie Albertine.
