William Christie will give a master class on November 8 featuring students from the Juilliard Historical Performance program in Juilliard's Paul Recital Hall, before returning for his annual concert with Juilliard415 on November 9, at the Lincoln Center.

William Christie's master class of historical performance features François Couperin's Second Concert from Concerts Royaux, Dario Castello's Sonata Decimasesta from Sonate Concertate in Stil Moderno, Libro II, Antonio Vivaldi's Flute Concerto in G minor, RV 439, "La Notte", and Jean-Féry Rebel's Les Caractères de la Danse.

The masterclass will be livestreamed on MediciTV on November 8 at 10pm (Paris Time) and available on demand for one month (or 3 month if there is a subscription to the

William Christie conducts Juilliard415; Paul Agnew, guest coach of the performance

William Christie, artist-in-residence in Juilliard’s Historical Performance program, returns for his annual concert with Juilliard415 on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at 7:30pm in Alice Tully Hall (Lincoln Center, New York).

The program features music by Rameau from Castor et Pollux and from Dardanus. The vocal soloists from Juilliard’s Marcus Institute for Vocal Arts are sopranos Tamara Banješević and María Fernanda Brea; tenor Joshua Blue; and bass Alex Rosen.

Paul Agnew, associate musical director of Les Arts Florissants, is guest coach for the performance.
